Increasing philanthropy to meet the increased operational expenses at Haven from Hunger, now with a Resource Center.
$5,450,000 Goal
The Haven from Hunger pantry and community meals program distributes nearly 2 million pounds of food per year to over 6,000 unique individuals from Peabody, Salem, and Lynnfield. This high output places stress on all aspects of our supply chain – staff, utilities, transportation, storage – driving costs to new heights due to increased demand.
Our Resource Center will meet clients where they are – working holistically to provide clients the necessary guidance and counsel to overcome their individual obstacles to stability. Our Homelessness Prevention staff will hold office hours in the newly renovated second-floor office space, unlocking the potential for financial freedom within each client served at Haven from Hunger.
